Sheriff seeks fourth suspect
Two Maderans and a Fresno man were arrested this week for their alleged involvement in a case involving crystal meth and stolen metal. Madera County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a fourth suspect, said spokeswoman Erica Stuart.
According to the victim in the stolen metal case, several pieces of metal equipment started disappearing from his workshop located on Avenue 10 near Road 35. Roughly two weeks after the theft, the victim stumbled upon his stolen property at a recycling yard in Madera, Stuart said.
The scrapper, identified as Sabrina Marie Smith, 24, of Madera, claimed it came from her grandfather’s farm, Stuart said.
