An expanded Madera County Sheriff’s Department fleet promises efficiency for officers, shorter response time for citizens and safety for both.
Unveiled during a press conference at the Sheriff’s Office, the latest technology in a Ford Crown Victoria and two F-250s included upgraded computers, tablets, radios and video technology.
Sheriff John Anderson presented the vehicles and Lt. Michael Salvador explained how each of the new components work. Salvador was charged with carrying out the Fleet Procurement Plan six years ago and Tuesday’s unveiling was the third phase of it.
