The charitable spirit of Madera was on display earlier this week as nearly 150 people enjoyed dinner, took part in auctions, and listened to live local music as part of the Madera County Food Bank’s first annual fundraising dinner.
Inside the Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall in Northwest Madera, guests took part in a celebratory evening that food bank board member Mary Diebert described as a sort of comeback dinner.
“We’re calling it our first annual fundraiser of the new-and-improved Madera County Food Bank,” Diebert said.
