A tractor pulling a spray rig after dark on was struck from behind by a Honda sedan on Avenue 18 1/2 near Road 16, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The driver of the tractor and a man and woman in the Honda were shaken up and had cuts and bruises from the Thursday night crash.
Officers said the pesticide sprayer was almost empty and was heading for a refill when it was struck.
