A Madera man was convicted earlier this week of four felony sex crimes on minors and will face 30 years to life in prison.
Evidence introduced at trial showed that Ramon Perez Zapata, 31, continually molested a 10-year-old child for at least a year before the victim came forward to adults.
Zapata was convicted Monday of all four counts he faced, including three felony sex crimes on a child 10 years or younger, and a felony count of committing a lewd act with a minor under 14.
