Thousands of people from near and far reveled in wine produced locally during Madera Wine Trail’s 2013 Holiday Spirit Weekend. The annual two-day wine tasting event is the last of the year before the holiday season. Visitors used it as an opportunity to shop for gifts from vendors. Local art, live music and food were featured.
This year, new releases were poured in the tasting room of San Joaquin Wine Company (SJWC), which was only one of the 11 participating wineries on the trail.
The 2011 Moody Press Cellars Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon were released and the public gave a great response, according to Diane Sagariballa, a partner at San Joaquin Wine Company.
