About 50,000 anti-abortion demonstrators are expected to peacefully swarm upon the streets of San Francisco this afternoon to mark the 41st year after the Supreme Court’s Roe vs. Wade decision that declared abortion a legal right.
However not many outside of the city may realize it, according to organizers. Similar numbers have attended past protests in the Walk for Life West Coast’s 10-year history, yet media coverage has always been disproportionately light, they claim.
“Certainly we are bothered by the biased lack of coverage of our event, and justifiably so,” said Walk co-chair Eva Muntean.
