The Jan. 7, 2009, death of Madera’s Kenny Taylor left a huge hole in Madera for his family, his friends and the community. St. Joachim Church, where he attended 6 a.m. Mass every Sunday, was filled to capacity with mourners who had come to pay their final respects.
The insurance agency he owned with his father, the late Lloyd “Minnie,” Taylor, has become United Valley-Taylor Insurance, 1801 Howard Road. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and weekends by appointment.
It is one of a chain of nine United Valley Insurance Agency offices serving Valley businesses and individuals. Its crop and commercial insurance division employs 11 agents and the personal lines department, writing health, retirement and investment policies, is serviced by seven additional agents.
