The sixth annual Big Brothers Big Sisters Youth Soccer Clinic saw nearly 100 boys and girls learning soccer skills, teamwork and sportsmanship from expert coaches from the Fresno and Madera area.
The clinic was held Saturday at the Sunrise Rotary Sports Complex soccer fields and pavilion area. The event was free and participants in the clinic received a T-shirt and lunch of barbecued hot dogs, soft drinks and chips.
Coaches who conducted the clinic included: Garret Perez who has played for the Los Angeles Galaxy and the U.S. National Team, Liberty Ranchos Youth Soccer coordinator Jeff Clark, Fresno Fuego general manager Jeremy Schultz, Central Valley Viper coach Fidel Dorado, and Division 1 youth coaches Richard and Cassandra Ortiz.
