FRIANT — Nestled in the Madera County foothills, the award-winning Fäsi Estate winery in Friant welcomed the tribal council of the Picayune Rancheria of the Chukchansi Indians and their guests to a inaugural party Saturday.
Celebrating its 11th anniversary, the Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino has launched its own private label wine. The vintners describe the wine as a “beautiful burnt pink rose with hews of tawny that lead you into the aromas of a crisp buttered pear with raspberry, sweet and hints of oak.”
“The Fäsi Estates is a first-class operation and the wine they produce is famous across California for its distinct character and its great taste. At Chukchansi, we also do everything first class. The new Chukchansi 11th Anniversary private label wine release is a big hit for all of us — a vintage that speaks to our tribe’s commitment to quality,” said Tribal Council Chairman Tex McDonald.
The wine will be served by the bottle or by the glass exclusively at the Vintage Steakhouse the casino’s signature dinner venue...
