Madera Unified School District’s trustees have announced they will not meet this evening as scheduled. Their next regular meeting will be Thursday instead.
The board will meet in closed session at 5:30 p.m. and will begin its public session at 7 p.m.
School board trustees are locally elected public officials who oversee MUSD and provide direction for the education professionals who manage the day-to-day operations of Madera’s public schools.
The state of California has more than 5,000 school board members governing over 1,000 school districts and county offices of education.
