The family of 6-year-old Summer Worgull, who has leukemia, received $4,000 and a van from a Bike Night organized by Silva Ford and a local motorcycle ministry, One Nation Under God.
Even after the benefit drive, donations kept pouring in, going up to around $7,300 by Monday, organizers Mitch Riegelhuth and Ray Wright said.
Trent Worgull, Summer’s father, said his family is very humbled and they got “teary eyed” when they were surprised with the 1997 Dodge Caravan donated by Silva Ford.
“We’re very humbled by how it went and how everyone got there and supported Summer and our family,” Worgull said. “It was very incredible. Everyone was gracious and it was a huge blessing.” ...
