Month-long exhibit begins Wednesday
Over 90 art exhibitions representing Madera County agriculture will be presented at the Circle Gallery for more than a month for the 21st annual Celebrate Agriculture through Art show.
The grand opening will start at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday with the awards ceremony at 6:15 p.m.
The exhibit, organized by the Madera County Arts Council, will run from Wednesday to Nov 15 at the council’s gallery, 1653 N Schnoor Street. The gallery will be opened Tuesdays through Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
More than 150 works were submitted for the competition and a total of 99 will be on display. Artists over the age of 18 contributed their work in different forms: paints, drawing, sculpture, fiber arts and photography...
