One of the more popular impersonators of “the King” is set to take the stage in Madera during a fundraiser for a soup kitchen.

The voice, mannerism and fashion of the late Elvis Presley — whose 35th anniversary since his death came in mid-August — will be recreated by Fresno resident Jeremy Pearce during “A Night with Elvis” on Sept. 7. Dexter the Magician is also set to perform.

The annual fundraiser hosted by St. Joachim Church’s Holy Family Table ministry will be at Holy Spouses Hall, 320 N. I St., from 6 to 10 p.m. It will also include dinner by Madera Community Hospital Custom Catering, a photo booth with a professional photographer and a silent auction.
