Chili Cook-Off today

Cedar Creek Senior Living will host its 3rd annual Chili Cook-Off today with 10 participating businesses and organizations’ employees, including The Madera Tribune, showing off their homemade special recipes.

Contestants will be judged by five judges including Madera mayor Robert Poythress and District 3 supervisor Rick Farinelli. Competitors include Madera Rotary Club, Madera Community Hospital Foundation and Madera County Arts Council.

The public is welcome to taste the chili at Cedar Creek, 500 N. Westberry Blvd., from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
