A group of armed security officers and at least two Chukchansi tribal members were charged with multiple felonies by District Attorney Michael Keitz on Friday evening.
Among the 15 accused of firearm possession, kidnapping, and other crimes is tribal faction leader Tex McDonald, who allegedly led a security squad into the casino Oct. 9 to obtain audit documents they claim were being held by a rival faction.
Arrest warrants were issued for all suspects by a Madera County judge, Keitz said. By Friday afternoon, the sheriff’s office had yet to carry out the arrests.
