The Madera County animal shelter is offering reduced adoption prices on all puppies, dogs and cats until the end of December.
Shelter director Kirsten Gross said she hoped it would enable more residents to come out and adopt a pet for the holidays.
“Puppies and dogs are $50, and that even includes the spay or neutering, and all up to date shots. Cats are $30. Our partner volunteer group the Friends of Madera Animal Shelter is donating the difference to help us move and save more animals during December,” Gross said.
