Eric Cisneros, an eighth grade student at Eastin-Arcola School, has been selected the Madera Sunrise Rotary Club’s Student of the Month.
According to his teacher Scott Gandy, Eric has worked hard enough to earn all As and is very informed regardless of the topic being taught in class.
“Eric always has a positive attitude and goes above and beyond what is required by doing additional research into topics we are learning in class,” said Gandy, noting that Eric is an avid reader. “He has read novel after novel this year.”
Eric enjoys playing on the school football team and likes soccer. He is also in the school History Club. Besides enjoying reading, Eric likes doing card tricks. However, he has bigger goals...
