Despite losing its first two games in County/Metro Athletic Conference play by a combined score of 103-19, the Madera South football team will be looking for an upset special against San-Joaquin Memorial-Fresno.
The Stallions (0-7, 0-2 CMAC) travel to Fresno today to take on the Panthers (3-4, 1-1 CMAC) with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m.
While Madera South is coming off a 44-19 loss to Edison-Fresno on Friday, the Stallions hung with the Tigers for a half. Madera South unleashed its passing game with Greg Rodriguez completing 4-out-of-5 passes for 122 yards and three touchdowns as the Stallions led 19-14 late in the second quarter.
