Ballot drop off sites announced

The county has announced drop off locations for those with Vote By Mail ballots for the U.S. presidential election.

Local residents may take ballots to the office of the County Clerk-Recorder and Registrar of Voters, which is on the first floor of the County Government Center, 200 W. 4th Street, in Madera. The office will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 3 to issue and accept Vote By Mail ballots, according to County Clerk-Recorder Rebecca Martinez.

The following locations will also be open from 9 a.m. To 3 p.m. Nov. 3 to receive Vote By Mail ballots:

  • Chowchilla: Supervisor District 2 Office, 137 S. 3rd St. (use Trinity Ave. door)
  • Madera Ranchos: Hills Senior Center, 37330 Berkshire Drive
  • Oakhurst: Madera County Sheriff’s Department, 48267 Liberty Dr...
