2nd annual celebration will take place at airport; lots of vendors, activities
After the success of the Madera’s first Pomegranate Festival, the Madera District Chamber of Commerce and the Madera County Tourism Alliance will host the second annual Pomegranate Festival on Saturday at the Madera Municipal Airport.
The festival will begin at 10 a.m. and go until 4 p.m. Parking and entrance are free.
“It’s been looking very good,” said Jarrod Lyman, Pomegranate Festival chairman and Yosemite Sierra Visitors Bureau director of media and communications. “We are excited to see how things pan out. We’ve gotten a lot of press from the pomegranate video. It’s created a lot of buzz.”
