Supervisorial candidates Gary Svanda and Rick Farinelli still don’t know which of them won the election to fill the District 3 position being vacated by present Supervisor Ronn Dominici.
As of the end of election night Tuesday, only eight votes separated them. Svanda had 2,790 to Farinelli’s 2,782.
Both said they had been told by County Clerk Rebecca Martinez that more than 300 votes remained to be counted — some mail ballots and some that were provisional.
