Wondering what to do with the old electronics that are lying around your house or office taking up space and collecting dust? Gather them up and bring them to the free e-waste recycling event in Madera from noon to 4 p.m. Jan. 12 at Valley Bowl, 12829 Highway 145.
Items accepted for free recycling include computers, monitors, and towers, laptops, fax machines, televisions, plasma screens, CRT and LCD screens, stereo systems, speakers, copiers, calculators, keyboards, cell phones, and telephones.
All proceeds raised at the event will go toward the Valley Bowl Junior Bowlers scholarship program.
