Sheriff John Anderson announced Sunday that the second suspect in the 22-Mile House Scratchers heist turned himself in.
Robert Leroy Cave, 51, of Fresno turned himself into Fresno authorities late Saturday. Lead Det. Adam McEwen, of the Madera County Sheriff’s Office, booked Cave into county jail Sunday on suspicion of receiving stolen property and conspiracy.
Cave reportedly told authorities he couldn’t take the attention generated by media. His bail was set at $10,000. He joins 32-year-old Christopher Nunn, who was arrested Jan. 16.
