A Madera man was sentenced last week to nearly 75 years to life in prison for attempted murder and three additional felony counts of assault with a deadly weapon for shooting four people last year during a dispute.
Carlos Maldonado, 37, was sentenced in Madera Superior Court on Friday to 74 years and 8 months to life in state prison, Madera County District Attorney Michael Keitz announced Monday.
In Maldonado’s trial, Assistant District Attorney Miguel Valdovinos presented evidence that on the evening of March 18, 2012, Maldonado and his brother Timothy Maldonado, 35, of Lemoore, went to the Madera residence of Michael Greer, 44, to settle a dispute, Keitz said.
