Suggests other areas for investigation
An investigation into charges of misconduct by three Madera Unified School District trustees is complete and a report that implicates two of the three has been filed with the school district.
The report says there was no misconduct by the board as a whole.
Private investigator Pete Chavez has concluded that trustees Lynn Cogdill and board clerk Maria Velarde-Garcia engaged in an attempt to persuade board president Ricardo Arredondo to have a principal fired “in favor of a particular superintendent candidate.”
