Liberty High School honored 35 outstanding seniors earlier this month during the Senior Awards Ceremony in the school’s theater.
In addition to scholarship and special awards, the 2013 academic awards were also announced.
Liberty honored 17 valedictorians (4.0 or higher total weighted GPA) and also handed out 16 principal’s medallions for a 3.8 or higher non-weighted GPA.
Chloe Doyle, who will graduate No. 1 in a couple of weeks, received six scholarships during the ceremony. She received the Kiwanis Club of Madera Ranchos scholarship, Rotary Club of Madera scholarship, Madera County Retired Teacher’s Association Scholarship, Ed Dorn Leadership Scholarship, the Parker/Stansell Memorial Scholarship and the American Association of University Women Scholarship...
