The Madera Association of Realtors plan to host the C.A.R. Region 12 lunch — A working meeting for the region’s directors — on July 24 at the Madera Municipal Golf Course.
The 2013 Region Chair Don Scordino of the Fresno Association of Realtors will pass the torch to the 2014 Region Chair E’Mira Torres of the Madera Board of Realtors. The last Region 12 Chair from Madera was Donald Floyd in 1979.
Region 12, which spans five counties and 200 miles, consists of nine Realtor associations and includes Realtors of Madera, Fresno, Bakersfield, the Kern River and Lake Isabella area, Kings County, the Orange belt, Tehachapi, Tulare County and the Yosemite area. It is one of the largest Realtor regions, both geographically and in number of associations.
