A 28-year-old Valley Lake Ranchos man was killed in a solo vehicle crash, after losing control of his car on Road 29, north of Avenue 26, just south of Eastman Lake, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officer O. Godinez said alcohol use is being investigated as a factor in the Friday night crash, and the man would have likely survived had he been wearing a seat belt and not been ejected.

No other vehicles were involved, and there were no skid marks,” Godinez said.
He was pronounced dead at the crash site, said Godinez, and the man’s name is being withheld pending notification of family...
