With more than 50 teams and an estimated 1,000 people attending, the 2013 American Cancer Society’s Madera Relay for Life raised $120,266 on May 4-5, according to chairwoman Charlotte Brewer.
Brewer was very pleased with the turnout and those participating as cancer survivors.
“We had nearly 200 cancer survivors at relay this year,” said Brewer.
