Walking the streets trick-or-treating might be a popular activity for children, but not necessarily the safest.
So for those who are not into spooky Halloween or are worried about public safety, another option will he beld at the Madera fairgrounds this evening called “Nite Lite,” hosted by the Madera Ministerial Association.
Thirteen local churches came together to organize the event through “Love Madera” from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.
“We have over 300 volunteers, and have had numerous donations from families and businesses of our communities to make this evening possible for our community,” said event coordinator Lance Leach. “But the driving force has been the people from so many churches that just would not let this gift to Madera go away.” ...
