Madera County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a suspect who broke into a Sears Home store in Oakhurst on Tuesday evening and got away with more than $500 worth of merchandise.
According to police reports, the suspect parked a stolen car in front of the store on Junction Drive and CA-49. The car, a 1996 red four-door Honda, was reported stolen in Fresno. Its license plate number is 6JEU094.
In surveillance camera footage, the suspect appears to be white or Hispanic with his hair pulled back into a ponytail. He has a medium build and wore a red baseball cap, red jersey and dark jeans, and possibly a pair of black sneakers with white soles.
