Madera County Public Health Department urges the public to keep their eyes peeled for measles symptoms after a man with the disease came into contact with the public last week from Jan. 22 to Monday.
The public health departments for Madera and Fresno counties met Wednesday evening to discuss the possible measles outbreak and will work closely to monitor any possible measles cases, said Van Do-Reynoso, Madera County public health director.
“[Fresno] will alert us if, in their investigation, they find any Madera County resident infected, so we can start our investigation,” Do-Reynoso said.
