In its County/Metro Athletic Conference opener, the Madera boys soccer team made it perfectly clear that it’s not ready to give up its league crown this season.
The defending CMAC champion Coyotes (11-3-3, 1-0 CMAC) opened conference play Wednesday night with a statement win wth a 4-1 thumping of San Joaquin Memorial-Fresno at Memorial Stadium.
Madera will next play at Sanger today at 5 p.m.
