Tuolumne Trails, a camp operated by Jerry and Paula Baker and the foundation named for them, is a location designed especially for campers with special needs.
Opened in 2008 and located near Groveland just outside Yosemite National Park, it has wheelchair access to outdoor trails, campfire areas and a swimming pool, all designed for handicapped campers.
Six cabins with full power and a great hall with dining room, infirmary, offices, and game and craft rooms provide space for 80 visitors at any given time, and the camp’s year-round philosophy is that no camper should be turned away for any reason.
