An established business will move a short way down the street to a larger location, a closed-down bar will reopen as a microbrewery, a billiard parlor and video arcade will open on Gateway Drive and three floor-model plans were approved for 48 homes in the Tierra Vista Estates subdivision thanks to unanimous approvals by the City of Madera’s Planning Commission Tuesday night.
The commissioners unanimously approved all six agenda items before them at the monthly meeting with only one item, the Tierra Vista home plans, subject of real commissioner concern.
The item, as approved, will allow Tierra Vista Development, LLC — a Fresno-based company comprised of two California real-estate developers — to construct 48 new homes in the city’s southern subdivision on the northwest corner of Emily Way and Gary Lane.
